Shaw Institute for Cultural Art

Shaw Institute for Cultural Art (SICA) was conceived by IDU USA under the chairmanship of Dr Chief Azubuike Ezeife, for implementation in Igbo-Ukwu in memory of the Archeologist, Prof Thurstan Shaw, who unearthed Igbo-Ukwu’s bronze Artworks dating back to 9th century AD. The Foundation stone was laid at the extant grounds of the Anambra State Museum Igbo-Ukwu on 12 November 2014. This ground is located within Umuezenwaka, Ngo, Ukwu.
