THE GREAT ANCESTRAL &
ARCHEOLOGICAL TOWN

Igbo-Ukwu, meaning “Great Igbo” in English, is a historic town in the south-central part of Nigeria’s Anambra State. The town consists of three main quarters—Obiuno, Ngo, and Ihite (an amalgamation of four quarters)—further subdivided into several villages and 36 administrative wards.
Bordered by neighboring towns like Ora-eri, Ichida, Azigbo, Amichi, Ekwulumili, Ikenga, Ezinifite, Isuofia, Ụmụọna, Aguluzoigbo. Igbo-Ukwu stands as a significant cultural and historical landmark.
